Welcome to Mole & Velvet!

Upcycled, Reclaimed, Reloved, Readorned, Salvaged, Repurposed, Recycled...there are many words to sum up transforming treasures from forgotten times, some that are destined for the scrap heap, and turning them into beautiful must-have items for the home. That's what I do at Mole & Velvet. I have over 9 years experience in the sewing industry, along with a diploma in fashion design and dressmaking. This, along with my love for quirky interiors and vintage & eclectic items, inspired me to create Mole & Velvet.

I only buy, make and sell things that I love, with the mindset that if I love it, I know you will love it too!...(this will result in me falling in love with some items that don't make it up for sale because I cant resist keeping for myself!).

My workshop is based in Gloucestershire, that’s where you’ll find me either covered in paint or styling my own photoshoots for products or furniture to add for sale.

I believe in giving a new lease of life to old furniture, so I also create bespoke commissions, either starting with a piece of furniture you may already have or I will source the perfect piece for you to be transformed to suit your home, using your choice of paint colours, or prints.

I stock a selection of painted and upcycled furniture, unique home décor, handmade gifts and homewares, with a mixture of vintage and antique pieces thrown in - all screaming for you to choose them for your home!
